Last Friday (15th of February) and Saturday the floors were removed from the building. For this, a small crane with a hydraulic chisel was used...
Such a small crane with such a big chisel...Look at the damage it can do!
Saturday morning most of the concrete was removed...
And Saturday afternoon also the 'Stelcon' floor tiles were removed.
Today (Monday 18th of February) the sewerage system was removed...
Food for archeologists...And there goes another load...
Tomorrow a new sewer system will be installed. When finished, the iron works for in the concrete floor will be installed. The new floor will be put in next week.
We keep you updated!

Wrong brand excavator (crane is a bit bigger ;)), but yeah, this how they work nowadays. Most often the chisel (it is actually simply called a breaker) is from a different brand as the excavator is. They have sometimes a pump just working for that (inside the machine, there are probably 3 hydraulic pumps, one to move the machine, one for the works hydraulics and probably one for auxilary stuff, like this here breaker). Cool stuff, sounds like an expensive build
